From 1944 to 1977 the TS Dolphin was a
Merchant Navy training ship through
which 4,000 boys passed acquiring
the skills for their future sea-going
careers. The following pages
contain a few "Squad" photos,
a very well researched history
and photos of the TS Dolphin,
who in earlier days, saw service
at Gosport as a depot ship, &
gave her name to the HMS
Dolphin Submarine Base (now a
submarine museum). So far only
a few "Dolphin Boys" have surfaced
but it is hoped that through this web
site many more will come to light. If you
trained on the Dolphin, get in touch - we
will be only too happy to publish your photos
and memories here - just EMAIL them to us!
